The Angelic Brewery
The Angelic Brewery has been a fixture on the University of Madison Wisconsin's campus bar scene for a long time running. Its chill atmosphere, easy going staff, and tasty chow has been turning Madison newbies into regulars, and been keeping the Madison regulars coming back for years! The Angelic draws in a good mix of Madison WI college students, young professionals, and music lovers, and has that “bump into” factor (chances are you’ll bump into someone you know) that’s always makes for a good time. Now for the real business of the bar… yes they have excellent beer and drinks, and no it wont throw your wallet into starvation mode. These guys have some of the best beer the capital city has to offer, and we have to recommend the Ale Asylum Golddigger Blond. This campus Madison WI bar doesn’t just stop at the brew, they also rock it out in the kitchen department as well. Items such as “Holy Bread” (Foccacia bread brushed with olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs, and a blend of cheeses served with homemade marinara) and "Fallen Angel Wings” (a full pound of wings, golden fried and coated with their fiery sauce) pair up real nice with a pint or three of their Ale.
