The Concourse

Located on the first floor of The Madison Concourse Hotel, may be a little off the beaten path from your run of the mill Madison WI “college bar”, but its well worth the seek out. The Madison Concourse Bar offers an upscale atmosphere, that’s perfect for a special date night , or to simply grab some drinks with friends. This campus Madison WI bar offers a smaller menu (but not scaled down on flavor, with offerings such as “Tempura calamari with lemon-lime slaw and creamy wasabi dipping sauce” or  " A Trio of mini-burgers: pepper jack-chipotle; smoked cheddar with bacon-onion relish; avocado brie” ) daily until 11:00 pm, huge wine list, micro-brew beers, and the good stuff… single malt scotches and small batch bourbons. The Madison Concourse Bar is also the place to swing in if live jazz is what really floats your boat! They feature some of downtown Madison WI’s best live jazz every Wednesday starting at 9:00 pm and Fridays and Saturdays starting at 8:30 pm… the big time bonus, no cover charge! Stop by for a little “Thursty Thursday” action, or some “Friday After Class”, and you can score yourself and friends a bucket of domestic beers for only $15!
