The Vintage

The Vintage Spirts and Grill, is one of downtown Madison’s most distinctive looking hang outs. Located at 529 University Ave. this brightly painted “art-deco” style building is hard for passer bys to miss. Though it may have been the Vintage’s unique exterior that originally caught the eyes of its now mass local following, it’s defiantly the awesome food and atmosphere that keeps the crowds coming back more. Along with its variety of 14 different brews on tap, skilled bar staff, and weekly specials the Vintage has no problem pack’em in every night of the week (the Vintage is also able to offer its patrons a unique feature not found in the majority of campus area Madison bars… outdoor seating, and a very large outdoor seating area at that!).

If you’re rocking the Vintage just for it diverse vibe and good booze though you are defiantly miss’n out my friend, because the Vintage has some of the best bar fare in Madison. If you need some suggestions the Prime Rib sandwich, which is oven roasted and pan seared with a gorgonzola horseradish crust is oh soo rad, and their homemade chips & salsa can complete with the best of them! So we are going to go with a two thumbs way up for the Vintage Spirts & Grill, by far one of downtown Madison’s most unique little treasures.
