Sonic Boom!
Okay if you’ve lived in Madison for the past few years and own a TV than chances are you have been viewing commercials for Sonic Restaurants. If you’re anything like me, you too also believed that they either did not exist, or this was some kind of cruel trick played by the “fast food” gods to fuck with the minds of the broke and hungry.
Even though the commercials for all of Sonic’s yummyness played over and over again, they were never anywhere to be found… and least not within… um let’s say the entire fricken state. Well the wait is finally over my friends; Madison has just given birth to a brand new baby Sonic, awwwwwwwww. Located at 6413 University Ave., the location blows for Madison students like me looking to stubble in around bar time, but on the bright side it is only a short metro or moped away the following day.
So I actually attempted to rock out with my tots out at its “fast food holyness” the other night with a few buds, but truth be told - the lines are still way too long so I ended up with a Big Mac and fries. Anyway I am looking forward to finally dining at an establishment that has been dangled in front of my face (just far enough away for me not to grab) for the past few years now very soon, and when I get my Sonic slush and cheese tots on, Ill be sure to let you all know how it goes.
