So, a college food staple, buttered microwave popcorn, because it’s easy, fast and can still be made after a night of beer-bonging (although I would not recommend the below method, if you have actually been beer-bonging all night). The kind of Buttered Microwave Popcorn you can buy in the box is okay, but I have a “Buttered Microwave Popcorn Hack” that tastes better and costs less.
What you need: a microwave, brown paper lunch bags, popcorn (my grocery store sells a huge bag of it for 99 cents), butter and salt.
How you make it:
1. Measure about 1/4 cup popcorn into a brown paper lunch bag.
2. Fold top the top of the bag over about four or five times.
3. Place the bag in the microwave for 2 to 4 minutes (just make sure you stop the microwave when you can count to 3 without hearing any pops).
4. Take the bag out of the microwave, and microwave the amount of butter you want in a coffee mug (about 30 seconds should do it).
5. Pour the butter into the bag, give it a shake and salt to taste.
There you have it, a simple and very cost friendly Buttered Microwave Popcorn Hack… that goes great with a cold beer.

And on one last thought, did you know you can make popcorn with bacon fat? Well apparently you can (How To Make Bacon Fat Popcorn)… is there one food left on earth that people will not try to modify with bacon?
