FREAKFEST FAQ:
Does RedRodger.com help produce Freakfest?
No, we just make sweet love to your mom and then go about being the most bad-ass Madison blog on the block. We try our best to provide Freakfest information for other Madison students/individuals, and for those attending for the first time or from out of state. If you have a question that is not answered here, post it over at our State Street Halloween Facebook Page, someone will try to help answer it.
Is there an age limit for Freakfest?
There is no age limit to get into the event, however you will need to be 21+ to drink at any of the bars.
Do they sell alcohol at Freakfest?
The bars located within the “Freakfest perimeters” sell alcohol. There are no Beer Gardens, etc… You need to be 21+ and have an ID to drink at any of the bars (some bars may require out-of-state residents to have two forms of identification). The bars close at 2AM (last call may be 1:30AM, or even earlier depending on what bar you are at). Open intoxicants are not allowed on any city street, sidewalk, terrace, alley or other public property, even if you are of legal drinking age (it’s not like Mardi Gras).

Non-residents will be asked to immediately leave the premises.” – news.wisc.edu
Are there any costume restrictions?
You can not have costumes that contain weapons, including fake weapons. The police may confiscate anything they deem as dangerous or inappropriate.
