If you’re looking to change up your typical Madison summer haunts, then The Comedy Club on State may be just the place you’re looking for. Great for a date night, or something different than your standard Madison bar, The Comedy Club on State features great drink specials in an atmosphere that is pretty unique for the downtown Madison area.
Think you have what it takes, funny guy (or girl)? Then THE BIG DEUCE - Open Mic is where you need to be on Wednesday nights! Every Wednesday at 8:30pm The Comedy Club on State holds an open mic, sign-up starts at 8:00pm, with only a $2 Cover and $2 shots (which you might need if you’re actually contemplating getting on stage).
Students who hung around Madison for the summer you’re in luck! Take advantage of “SUMMER SPECIAL - College Night” every Thursday at 8:30pm and every Friday at 10:30pm. Admission is only $1 with any college ID (must mention and make a reservation). Special events are excluded, but you can call 256-0099 for reservations.
